Henrietta Jenkins has worked in service to her community most of her life.  She works for Piedmont Airlines, a company she has grown with for 3 years. She is pursuing a degree at  the University of Southern Indiana in Individualized Studies and is optimistic to graduating soon.  She majored in Pan African Studies at the University of Louisville.

Henrietta was the recipient of the Who's Who Award for High School Excellence.  She is the owner of a start up media company (C.A.T.S. Entertainment) which focuses on radio and television production.  She served as a member of the Neighborhood Bridges of Hope Community Council in Louisville, Ky. Currently, she is the newest appointee to the Urban Enterprise Association Board, here in Evansville, Indiana. She was the recipient of the National Supreme Council of OES Scholarship for 2006, at which time she was accepted into a graduate studies program in Nigeria at Owerri University.  Henrietta is also a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 865, Stems of Spirit.  She is currently active in her church. She writes as well as travels to other churches and organizations speaking to young men and women on domestic violence, self esteem and their African heritage.  Henrietta Jenkins has worked in service to her community most of her life. 

Henrietta is the great niece of Church of God in Christ Bishop Olethus E. Shelton (deceased), the grand daughter of ordained Evangelist Lula Lee Thomas (deceased).  Her great grand mother 8 generations removed was of Igbo decent and upon traveling to Nigeria for the first time in 2006, Henrietta found her passion for serving people and her inherent nature to help improve peoples lot in life.
